This Chinese New Year, Cityplaza partners with young artist Xietu for the first time, bringing to the mall his brand Soong and Soong and a line-up of distinctive pine illustrations, traditional bonsai elements and the spirit of New Zen living. The grand presentation of “Evergreen Blessings” – Soong and Soong’s first mall collaboration in Hong Kong – takes centre stage. Breaking with convention, the campaign uses pine trees as its design theme, cleverly blending auspicious meanings with contemporary art across eight photogenic installations to create a curated Year of the Horse journey of “Welcoming Fortune”, “Gathering Wealth” and “Seeking Destiny”.

“Evergreen Blessings” features four major fortune zones and eight photogenic installations in the 2/F Atrium and Centre Bridge. The brand’s popular, whimsical character Sleepy Soong leads everyone on a stroll along the path of prayer, wealth accumulation and destiny-seeking. 

Special-edition Pine Postcard Preserves Luck All Year

Hidden within “Evergreen Blessings” are a series of New Year fortune imprints waiting to be discovered! Simply become a LIVE+ member and take a photo at the “Evergreen Health & Happiness Tree” or participate in the “Fanning Fortune” game. When you’re finished, scan the QR code and follow the Cityplaza Instagram page (@cityplazahk) to redeem a blessing stamp card. Collect all eight blessing stamps from the stations and complete a special, limited-edition blessing stamp card – a must-have for those who want to take luck home for the entire year.

“Pine Bliss” DIY Aroma Charm Experience

Filled with the scent of pine and overflowing with blessings! Cityplaza, in collaboration with Aroma Office, a social enterprise that supports the local organic agricultural ecosystem and provides natural materials, is offering the “Pine Bliss” DIY Aroma Charm Experience during the event period. To promote sustainable development, Cityplaza has arranged for the Noble Fir Christmas trees from holiday decorations to be upcycled by Aroma Office into aromatic sachets, integrating sustainable elements into daily life and protecting the environment for future generations. This experience offers participants a sensory journey of fragrance. Participants can personally touch and smell various natural sources of scent; in addition to the Christmas trees, raw materials such as herbs, flowers and woody plants will be available. Participants can blend their own unique, exclusive fragrance combination from 12 types of natural ingredient, immersing themselves in the fun of aromatic creation.
